God has heard my cry
I want to testify to the goodness of God. I was working with a bank under a branch manager who loved all the staff members and treated us as one family. Recently, they employed a lady whose system of leadership in my department was divisive and full of scapegoating antics. I started going to the office every day with fear in my heart because of this woman. She finds fault in everything and treats everyone with disdain. It got too much for me and I decided to resign. I had been a part of a team that built the department where I worked from scratch until it started turning over millions in profit and investment. I didn’t share my intentions with anyone. I went to the Branch Manager and tendered my letter of resignation. He asked me what happened, and I explained everything to him. He said he will not be accepting my resignation, but I should take two weeks off work to relax and reconsider my decision. I said okay. We had the River, and the word came for someone who has laboured for long somewhere, but lost out because another person reaped the benefit. I stepped out and I was prayed for. On Monday, my boss called me in. I was offered a lead role at another bank. My boss said he was having a conversation with a friend who works at the other bank and it just occurred to him to mention my issue with the man. The man immediately offered to employ me. I am very happy with the offer. God has heard my cry. Praise the Lord
