Being in Light indeed

We all have someone who helps us make sense out of life
Or let me say, God sends someone into our lives who helps to tie things together so that they make sense
Before now, I have seen God only as a Lie or something made up by our forefathers in order to explain the things they don’t know or understand
In my life, things has always been terrible
My husband died when I was thirty-three
He left me with two children
Before I got married to him, i was sick for many years
There has been nothing good about my existence
My mother introduced me to some of the GSWMI classes, one of Sunday mornings, which is for thirty minutes
From there, I started listening to the classes and somehow found myself falling in love with God
The touch of God, his embrace, his warmth, and his realness
Things began to turn around for me and my family in a manner I cannot explain
A friend said the universe decided to smile on me
I found myself elevated to a role with the government, which i did not lobby for
I also found myself touching the lives of many young people due to this role
My children are growing and doing very well
I also found love again, and I will be getting married in the month of August
All this in the space of six months
I began to understand how being in Jesus is being in Light indeed
Thank you, Brother Gbenga, for being so unconventional and real in all your approaches
It is the thing I find most attractive in God, his lack of pretense and directness
You epitomize that and it really helped my faith and my growth
