The Cyclic Nature of Time and the Altering Nature of Prophecy

There is something about the Bible that many people don’t know. It is a book that mirrors life in its entirety.

Life is cyclic.

We all assume life is straight. Jesus said “narrow” is the way, not “straight” is the way. We usually misrepresent this in our minds.

Read the parables again: You will establish from the mouth of Jesus the cyclic nature of life.

“A man planted a vineyard, rented it out to some tenants, and then went away on a journey. When it was harvest time, he sent a servant to collect his share of the fruit…

Then he sent other servants…

Then last of all, he sent his son… Matthew 21:33

I will come to you again according to the time of life…

God said this to Abraham, Genesis 18:10

There is nothing new under the sun… Ecclesiastes 1:9

The mirror of the prophetic overtime and space is spherical. We use the past to see the future and we use the future to see the past.

This is the complete circle of the prophetic:

For example, you can look at somebody’s past behavior and current behavior to predict how the person will turn out in the future, and you will be correct all the time if nothing is done to alter the course of that person.

Deviations in the prophetic are a result of individual decisions that alter their set pattern.

For example, ESAU was wild, loves the wild, got married without parental consent to three wives from places his parents wouldn’t have wanted him to get married from, heady, stubborn, his father loved him deeply but he did nothing to reciprocate the love or deserve it, sold his birthright, never had a good relationship with his mother, selfish and cavalier by nature.

Prediction according to scripture: Heading for destruction.

Life-altering Moment: Jacob steals his blessings, and He took control of his own destiny

Jacob left home for fear Esau would kill him.

Esau left home for fear Jacob would become great, and he would then serve Jacob according to the prophecy of Genesis 25:23

And he declared to her; two nations are in your womb. One nation shall be stronger than the other and your older son will serve your younger son

Esau was driven by the desire not to serve Jacob, and this changed his natural attitude to life. From loving the wild and moving alone, he began to build alliances and domesticated many of his natural instincts. He became more accommodating, married more wives and had more children. He became an astute leader and administrator. Within twenty years, he had established Edom, with eleven dukes who ruled under him and other chiefs who ruled under the dukes.

Jacob, on the other hand, was prophesied upon before birth that he would be the one the older brother will serve. He loved to stay at home and do house chores. He was closer to the parents and homely. He was loved by his mother and doted upon. He was loved by his mother and doted upon by his father. He tricked Esau out of his birthright. He also stole the blessings of Isaac.

Jacob’s one flaw was his deceitful nature.

Prediction: He will be very successful in life; the stars have all aligned in his favour.

Life-Altering Moment: He stopped being in charge of his own destiny for twenty years.

From the Moment Jacob met Rachael and Laban, he stopped being on the front foot in life as he was with Esau. Perhaps he thought he had won the sibling rivalry, and it was time for him to follow the rules.

Laban taught him several lessons right from the get-go. Laban changed the bride, changed his wages, and cheated him over and over.

After twenty years, Jacob decided to escape. He made a plan, got his family and support team together, and ran away in the middle of the night. By the time he would meet with Jacob, he realized that Esau had defied the odds.

The predictions would have been one hundred percent accurate if both of them had continued on the course they started life on.

This is the basic rule of the prophetic. The past mirrors the future all the time. It is always cyclic.

Time is a bending phenomenon; days, months, and years are in cycles for a reason. Space is always a bending phenomenon.

The Earth and all the planets are spherical for a reason. You can always see tomorrow if you look deeply at yesterday.

The role of the prophetic is to identify the life-altering moments when decisions would be made to alter the course of destiny.

The duty of the prophet is to stir or guide the predestined on the right path so that he or she does not miss that perfect timing.

Remember that pool at Bethesda, which an angel stirs once a year at a venture? Now, imagine being observant enough to be able to predict the exact date, month and time the angel will stir the pool.

Can you see that if you can do that, you can easily choose who will be healed, and this will then give you tremendous power due to knowledge.

This is the role. We play it over nations, we play it over people, and we play it over destinies. Our intention is to ensure that each destiny does not miss its vehicle of transport into fulfilment.

Elisha woke up one morning, took oil and walked to the Army Barracks.

Jehu woke up that morning, as the General of the Army, and did what he had always done as the general. He commanded his army and made decisions on the base as usual.

Then Elisha walked in while Jehu and his soldiers were having dinner and drinking.

Elisha tapped Jehu on the shoulder and beckoned him to follow. Jehu followed Elisha

Elisha took him into a room, told him to kneel down, and anointed him.

Jehu came out of that room, commanded his soldiers to take up their arms and run into the city.

What was his order?

He said Ahab and Jezebel must die that day. And Ahab and Jezebel were killed. Jehu then became the King of Israel.

From that example, you can see that the duty of the prophet is to ensure the predestined is identified and put in the vehicle of destiny at the right time.

Elijah did the same for Elisha. Samuel did the same for Saul (Saul made life-altering decisions, which made him disembark from that transport).

Samuel did the same for David.

John the Baptist did the same for Jesus.

Jesus did the same for all the disciples when he gave them the Holy Spirit.

We do the same today.

Always remember, time and space is cyclic; what the prophet looks for are the moments that determine moments in time when the predestined must be activated for the fulfillment of destiny
