Hearing and Speaking By The Spirit

“Some people ask why they never heard the Holy Spirit talk back to them, even though they pray and speak in tongues consistently.”

“If, as a Christian, you find it difficult to discern the voice of the Spirit, it is not because the Holy Spirit is not speaking or because His voice is weak when He speaks.

First, the Holy Spirit probably has been speaking to you, and you have not been listening to Him or thinking it is your mind talking to you,”

The Holy Spirit always talks to believers, but we listen to Him, not with our physical ears but with our spirits, from within us.

If a believer listens with his/her spirit, he/she will hear Him, and His voice will be clear. The same applies when studying the scriptures.

“Whenever you are studying the word, it is an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to minister and speak with you. So, accept His teachings and guidance from the Bible,”

“Never let your spirit go into a coma or fall asleep due to misuse. What we don’t use will rust. This is why you should always remember to keep being awake in the Spirit. Never let your spirit sleep.”

“Your body can rest and sleep, but do not join your body in the sleep with your spirit. What I just said to you is so important. Things happen to people in the Spirit when they sleep in the Spirit. Do not sleep,”

When a Christian says, “I talk to the Lord, but He does not talk back to me,” that person needs to realize that God may not reply or talk back or act at that moment, but He will always talk to you. He talks to you every day.

“So, as a child of God, never say, ‘I do not know whether the Holy Spirit talks to me.’ Say what Jesus said: ‘I know the Father, and He knows me. I hear and recognize His voice.’ Jesus said, “My sheep, hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me,” (John 10:27)

“Therefore, you say, ‘I know the voice of the Master; I know the voice of the Holy Spirit, and He talks to me,’” he added.

Prophecy is like a guiding light. It was through prophecy that the people knew about the coming of Jesus.

It is true prophecy that we are being guided to expect the return of the King

There were so many prophecies that the Saviour—the Messiah—would come. The only proof that God had for the people to recognize and say, “This is the messiah,” was His Word spoken by the prophets about Christ, the Messiah.

Prophecy is vital. Have there been prophecies about your life? Paul said to Timothy, “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare” (1 Timothy 1:18).

Make war with those prophecies. Take every word of prophecy concerning your life seriously. Write them down, so you don’t forget, and chart your course with the creative power of God’s Word in your mouth.

Now, I will pray for you and it is my expectation that between now and the end of this year – God’s Grace will be multiplied several times in your life. These words will produce results in your life as an individual, in your family and in everything that concerns you.

To prophesy means to speak words of divine revelation and potency; words that have and give life. And through the gift of prophecy, the Body of Christ— the Church—is edified, strengthened and comforted.

You might be in your closet or in a meeting, and words in Psalm 23 well up from within you, and then you go, “Psalm 23 verse 1 says, ‘The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want’; therefore, we’re nourished, sustained, energized, strengthened and prepared for His soon return through the ministry of the Word! We’re invigorated and vitalized through and through because He nourishes us.’

With such words, the church is edified. Hallelujah! That’s why the Bible says, “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy” (1 Corinthians 14:1 NKJV). Through the gift of prophecy, we can admonish one another and strengthen one another.

1 Corinthians 14:31 says, “For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.” This isn’t the same thing as everyone being a prophet. He didn’t say we may all desire to be prophets. Rather, it says that every one of us can, and should desire to prophesy.

If the gift of prophecy will bless and edify the church, it’ll bless and edify you. You can use the gift of prophecy to take charge of your life and control things in your “Aion.” Acts 2:17 says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy….”

Chart your course in perpetual victory and triumph through the gift of prophecy. Prophesy about the peace and prosperity of your nation and the nations of the world. Prophesy about your health, success, prosperity and victory. Prophesy about your life, and about your future. Prophesy to your bone, to your body, to your skin, to your blood, to your finances, job, business, academics, etc.

Prophesy from your Spirit, not from your head. Many say the words like robots because they got it memorized or sometimes they just read it out from someone else’s thoughts written down in a book or paper

This is wrong.

Prophesy from the Spirit of God when he is stirred inside of you and you will see creative reality come to pass effortlessly in your life
