Solve Problems And Prosper

Matthew 11:4 Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: 5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy[b] are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.
Many have only thought of prosperity in terms of money or the multiplication of material possessions, but prosperity is first an ability. Material possessions or finances are often the most common symbols or indications of prosperity, which is why many equate prosperity with money, but it’s beyond money.
Let’s review the example of Joseph in Genesis 39:2; the Bible describes him as a prosperous man: “And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.”
We’re told that he (Joseph) made his master, Potiphar, to prosper, to the extent that Potiphar made Joseph overseer of all that he had: “…the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand…” (Genesis 39:5-6).
Even after he was falsely accused and sent to prison, the Bible says that Joseph was still prosperous. He was put in charge of the prisoners and the Lord made him successful in all that he did (Genesis 39:22- 23). You can be “in prison” and be prosperous.
You can be working for somebody or an organization, and be the reason for their prosperity. Consider Jacob: the Bible says he made Laban to prosper. In Genesis 30:27, Laban testified of this to Jacob and said, “…I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.”
Much more than the acquisition of material possessions, prosperity is the ability to help others prosper! It’s the ability to do what you want to do, go where you want to go, and be whatever you want to be to the glory of Christ! It’s the ability to please God, walk with the Spirit, and have His glory manifested in your life! It’s the Spirit of dominion at work in your life as a child of God.
You’ve been empowered by God, not just to prosper spiritually, mentally, physically, and materially, but also to make others prosperous.
As a child of God, the government of your country isn’t supposed to decide your prosperity. There’s a higher government—heaven’s government—and you belong in that government. Under heaven’s government, your financial prosperity is for all time; there’s supply for you every day!
Unlike the governments of this world, there’s no “welfare” system or pension program with God. He’s bigger and does better than that. He has a glorious plan for your life and has made provisions for your future. You never have to live your life on some pension, charity, or benefit from the government or anyone.
The Bible says He has given you all that pertains to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3); all that you need, to require no aid or support. Hallelujah!
God’s purpose is that you’re big enough to help others. He didn’t intend for you to be the one needing help. The Bible says saviours shall arise from Mount Zion (Obadiah 1:21); that’s you and me. We’re heirs of God, and through us He blesses and makes many rich.
There are many around us who are in dire need, and we must heed their cry for help.
Creativity is the search for a solution. Every time you see a problem around you, know that problems are catalysts for creativity.
In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. There was a problem of darkness, and God went into creation and introduced light.
The moment God introduced light, the problem of darkness was solved.
Just like someone invented microphones, so also, there is always a solution you can proffer that is designed to lift you.
In the time of famine, Isaac was able to see what the Philistines could not see. In the midst of famine, he became the most prosperous person in the land.
While others were busy complaining about the famine, Isaac was busy digging wells, from which he had water to water his farms. That is mechanized farming!
In the midst of famine, Joseph also prospered. He became a Prime Minister in a foreign land.
Genesis 47:20 -And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s.
A one-time prisoner became the most important man in the same land because he had the solution to their problems.
As a child of God, you have the mind of Christ, and if you know what to do, you cannot be a part of the problem in society. Even if you are uneducated, it does not mean you should be a failure. No way! Salvation has placed you at an advantage. You have the mind of Christ ought to know what to do.
Jesus was faced with a seemingly huge problem of feeding thousands of people in a desert and the Bible says, “For He Himself knew what He would do.” (John 6:6). Thus, the hardship in society is an advantage to you. The more the hardship, the better for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ!
It is time for you to move into the realm of solving problems.
Every man who solves a problem is rewarded accordingly.
If you want a reward, begin to solve problems in society.
However, money must not be your primary motive; just be out to solve problems.
Many are in business for the sake of money, but business is actually meeting the needs of society. Anyone who wants to be a successful businessman must be driven by the understanding of meeting people’s needs.
If you are in business primarily to meet people’s needs, it will not be long and you will excel!
It does not matter where you have failed, your case is not hopeless. May your eyes be open to introduce something that will solve a definite problem for humanity in Jesus name. Amen.
