John 21:6 “And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some. ”So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.”
The Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples many times after His resurrection. On one of such occasions, He appeared to them when they were returning from an unsuccessful fishing trip.
The disciples, who had gone back to fishing, had toiled all night at sea and caught nothing. When Jesus appeared to them in the morning, He asked them if they caught anything, but their reply was negative. Jesus then said to them, “…Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find…” (John 21:6).
If there was one place in all the waters where the disciples weren’t expected to find any fish, it was definitely around their ship, as they had troubled that spot all night long. The fish ought to have fled from there. But the Bible says, “…they threw the net out and could not pull it back in, because they had caught so many fish” (John 21:6 GNB). Now, the big question is: “Where did all the fish come from?” I’ll tell you that they came from the Word of the Master!
The Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen… By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:1,3). Those fish were framed by the Word of God, Hallelujah!
If Jesus is the Lord of your life, happy are you; you’ll live a life free of worries, knowing that His words can frame things into being in your life. All you need to do is discover what He has said about you from the Bible and begin to appropriate it to yourself. That way, you’ll effect any change you desire in your health, family, academics, or character, and you’ll never be disadvantaged in life.
Through faith we understand that THE WORLDS WERE FRAMED by the word of God… (Hebrews 11:3).
The Greek word “aion” is what is translated as “worlds” in the verse above. It refers to the course of life; an era, or the structure and administration of things as they are in the world. Every now and then, the devil tries to turn the course of this world in his direction; he likes to impose his own system on the world and force us to live in his system. But he’s subject to us, so we can’t allow him to have his way.
For example, when a city or a nation gets new leaders, Satan often attempts to make such leaders follow his agenda. Those leaders may never know when they’re being influenced and caused to lie and deceive their people and nation.
Even when the people find out that they’re being deceived, they can’t reverse the damage; they can’t free themselves. But the Bible says, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Romans 8:19-22).
We’re the ones to deliver the world—all of creation—from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. How? It’s with the Word of God (the “rhema” of God) on our lips. With the Word of God, you can repair, construct, and reconstruct the course of your life and your world.
That’s what the men and women of faith did in Bible days. Through faith, they framed or repaired their world with the Word of God. It’s what God expects of us today: we must frame our era with the Word of God through faith.
God made the whole world by speaking forth His Word. He called forth the light, land, and sea creatures, as well as everything else that He made. He had inside Him the kind of earth He desired, but He needed to speak forth the Word to bring to pass what He desired. Each time He spoke, the Holy Ghost acted on those words and caused what God spoke forth to appear.
This is also true about you, as God’s child, for you’re made in His image and in His likeness.
The Greek word translated “framed” in the opening scripture is “Katartizo”, which is to repair, frame, perfect, mend, or restore. In other words, the worlds were repaired, framed, mended, restored, and perfected by God’s words of faith. This lets us understand the power of faith because that’s how God framed the visible world from the unseen. Also, the word “worlds” is derived from the Greek word “Aion”, which refers to the structure and administration of one’s life; how things go with you from day to day, including how they affect your hopes and aspirations.
So you see, you can “frame” the circumstances of your life to conform to the image you have in your spirit. There’s a creative power in you, a divinely enabled ability to create the kind of life or environment you desire. You can alter your destiny and change the course of your life by speaking words in faith and calling forth the things you desire to see in your life. This is the key to recreating your world and living in victory continually. Start speaking and calling forth today what you want to see in your life, and the Holy Ghost will incubate your words and make them a reality.
Acts 1v8 ‘But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…’
As a Christian, i.e., when you are ‘born again’, one of the experiences is to receive the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes upon/in you, He gives you power. This power is an ability to cause changes. Equipped with this power, we have the ability to recreate our world.
YOUR CREATIVE ABILITY – The creative ability in us is our imagination. He gives scriptural evidence to show that our imaginative thoughts can manifest in the natural realm. He emphasises the importance of imagining positive desires and brooding over them until they become clear. Our imaginative power signifies what we can see. In the process of recreating our world, we must have a definite vision of what we desire our new world to be like. The extent of the changes in your world will be as far as you can see.
CREATING BY THE WORD – When your desire has conceived through your imaginative power, you must bring your desire into form with your words. When God created the world in the book of Genesis, he spoke words. Through words, he planted seeds for plants/shrubs. However, these plants could only grow once it rained. The seeds had to be watered. The water that will bring your desires into being is your confessions. Continued confessions will eventually bring your desires into being.
THE PRAYER OF THE CREATIVE HUMAN SPIRIT – Creation is done in your spirit. As the word is spoken, it turns your imagination into reality. However, reality is not tangible. It means that whatever is created through the process of imagination and speaking forth is real but not physical. It is real but cannot be seen or touched in nature. The creation is in the spirit realm. Therefore, this spirit creation needs to be brought into the natural so that we can see and touch it. This is where prayer comes in. Whilst in prayer, God will give you the practical ideas that will help you to bring the things created in the spirit realm into the material/natural world.
In summary, the Holy Spirit gives us the power/ability to recreate our world. Our imaginative power is our creative ability. Positive confessions/words spoken in relation to our imaginations cause the creation of the things we desire; however, at this point, they are spiritual creations. The translation of these creations from the spirit to the material world requires consistent and continuous prayer. Hence, you can change anything in your life.
