God never makes a promise until He has fulfilled it. Every promise was fulfilled in Christ: “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
So, if God tells you something that sounds like a promise, He already fulfilled that promise. Let me explain it to you this way: imagine He puts ten thousand dollars in your account, then He calls you on the phone and says, “Son, or daughter, I will give you ten thousand dollars if you’d do XYZ.”
Now, He only made that promise because He already put the money in your account. This is simple to understand when you realize that God doesn’t have a future; He lives in eternity.
Psalm 90:2 says, “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” Future for man is history with God.
God’s promises are not uncertain or pending. In Christ, every promise God ever made has already been fulfilled. You don’t need to beg, wait, or wonder, because in Him, the answer is “Yes” and the confirmation is “Amen!” Hallelujah!
Imagine all the beautiful promises of the Old Testament, the entire blessings of Abraham—they’ve all been fulfilled in Christ.
Now that you’re in Christ, you’ve possessed the blessings. You’ve received the promise of the Spirit and the fullness of divine life. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that His divine power has “…given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”
Every blessing you can ever imagine, anything good that you can ever contemplate in Christ Jesus, they’re already your present-hour possession
Sadly, due to their ignorance of this reality, some Christians live as though they’re still trying to obtain what God has already given to them. They pray and cry for what they should simply acknowledge and receive by faith.
You were born into an incorruptible inheritance. All things are yours now: “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21-22).
The Word says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32). This means nothing is withheld from you. God gave you His best, the Lord Jesus.
Along with Him, He freely gave you everything: eternal life, righteousness, divine health, prosperity, wisdom, victory, etc. It’s time to stop “seeking” and start walking in the blessings. Enjoy your inheritance in Christ.
Declare, “All things are mine. All blessings and divine favours are mine, and I enjoy them in real-time.” If it’s written in the Word, then it’s already yours. Take possession with your words. Rejoice like one who has received.
Act like one who has inherited the blessings. You’re not a beggar in the Kingdom. You’re a possessor. All the promises are yours, and in Christ, they are fulfilled.
Now you can better understand Paul’s beautiful conclusion in Hebrews 4:3 that all “…the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” In other words, before the earth was created, God had completed His work. Before you ever came on the scene, before your parents ever dreamed of coming together, God had known you and concluded everything about you.
Think about it: we’re already in the month of July, but before we ever knew 2023 was the Year of the Prolific Church, the Lord already put everything in place to make it so. What you require isn’t to ask God to make you prolific; no! Simply walk in the grace of that word.
With that grace, take your community, seize your city, and dominate your country for Christ. Flood everywhere with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let it be said of you as it was said of the apostles in Acts 5:28: “… behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine….”
Christ Jesus is the fulfilment of all of God’s promises. Understand that there’re no more promises waiting to be fulfilled, and this is the reality.
It’s important to know who a Christian really is; he’s an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ. That means you own everything God owns.
No wonder He said in 1 Corinthians 3:21, “…all things are yours.” The promises that were made to Abraham and his seed have become your present-hour possessions; you’re living in them. They’re now your heritage.
This happened when you received the Gospel, when you received Christ into your heart to be born again. What’s expected of you now is to enjoy your blessed life in Christ.
Refuse to fail or be poor, because Abraham’s seed is ordained to succeed. Fruitfulness and productivity are your birthright. The fullness of the blessings of the Gospel has been made possible and available to you in Christ; they’re not promises or things to hope for in the Sweet By-and-By.
Eternal life is yours NOW.
If I say to you, “I’ll give you a hundred thousand dollars tomorrow,” that’s a promise. When tomorrow comes, and I give you the hundred thousand dollars, you can no longer say, “Pastor Chris promised me a hundred thousand dollars.” Rather, you’d say, “I’ve received the hundred thousand dollars that Pastor Chris promised me yesterday.” The inheritance was promised in Christ.
When Christ came, it was fulfilled. The Bible says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
God has already blessed you with every blessing that exists in Christ. Prosperity, victory, success, joy, peace, and all other blessings in the Kingdom are now yours. Never speak or act like you’re a victim. Rule your world, for you’re an heir of God
