I have a friend her husband has a genetic condition called ADPKD (Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease). He has several cysts in both kidneys and the cysts are bursting. He had been peeing blood in his urine since almost 2months now. He’s been on frequent dialysis and They’re currently looking to remove both kidneys and put him on the list for kidney transplant. His pre-assessment for the surgery is taking place 31st of this month.

So since all of this started I had not gone to see my friend because we are not in the same city.
I had been interceding, praying and encouraging her over the phone and she has been strong.

On the 21st of March I decided to pay her a surprise visit to give physical emotional support.
I was on the road when I broke it to her that I was on my way to her
I didn’t tell her because I wanted it to be a surprise.

She said okay. She was at work at the time and she told me to come collect the key to her house from their workplace. She works at a care home. I arrived in her city at night and went to the workplace to pick up the keys. We hugged and caught up and she said she had been through a lot and cried. I encouraged her and we both in our emotions and excitement I just said why not sleep over with her at the care home till the next day. She just casually said oh would I be comfortable and I said why not.

We know the rules and we know no unauthorised persons are allowed to be in residents premises but in that moment we honestly didn’t think it far.
The next morning the person that was to take over the shift is a white person
She saw me while I was outside and confronted my friend. On the 22nd which is yesterday her husband’s birthday I prayed with him concerning his condition and believe that the Holy Spirit has taken control.

Now the colleague has reported the issue to the management and they called my friend that serious allegations has been made against her. She was asked to write a statement about what happened during her shift. My friend wrote the truth because although there’s no camera in the house, the neighbors have camera outside and they could check the time I came in and left. She was asked to come by 2pm today for a meeting. They have now suspended her and launching investigation.

All her booked shifts have also been cancelled. They also mentioned to her they would reach out to me for my own statement.

I hate to be the reason for anybody’s trouble, not even now that her husband is down in the hospital.

Bro Gbenga what should I do, I don’t want my friend to lose her job, I will feel guilty for the rest of my life.
