Nigerians have a strange relationship with evil consciousness, idolatry, and the demonic
It is in the subconscious of most people, especially Christians
It betrays the true state of their spirit man and how he is positioned in their understanding and interpretation of reality
It is a mindset that has plagued churches and pastors shamelessly
A stronghold that has sabotaged the belief system of many and kept them from enduring in their walk with the Holy Spirit

This thing has to be rooted out of our psyche deliberately
Quoting scriptures like “We are not ignorant of the devices of the enemy” in order to allow the devil to live rent-free in your consciousness is of no help
All some of us have in our hearts is a consciousness of the devil and his devices, while we remain ignorant of the devices of God.

I was at a hospital with a lady who was in labour
She was going to deliver her first child, and I had been of help in transporting her to the hospital while she combated the throes of pain
When we got her into the hospital, the nurse on duty took her in and started observing her dilation process
The husband was with me at the reception, and he was eager to hear the latest news regarding his wife’s condition
This was understandable
So the husband would ask the nurse, How is she doing and the nurse would say something like, “I have called the doctor, she is 2mm dilated at the moment” or something like that
After an hour, this nurse came out and said, “I don’t know why she is not progressing, are you sure you are the father of the child? Because I heard about one case where the woman was pregnant for another man, not knowing they had a ritual in their family that their wives must not cheat. So she couldn’t deliver the baby until she confessed. I hope that is not the case here.”
The woman’s husband was shocked, and I tried to calm him down
After another hour, the lady came out and said, “Are you sure there is no incision or family ritual you guys ought to do for her to deliver? She is not progressing beyond 2mm, and this is not looking natural to me.”
The husband started crying, and I calmed him down again
After another hour, the doctor arrived
The same nurse came out again and said, “You better start praying against evil forces that must have followed you or your wife to this place, sir, you need to cast and bind, rebuke and denounce every power of darkness because the devil is real. I have seen a lot”
I had to tell her to shut up at that point
She was basically taking pleasure in torturing in young man who had no experience with childbearing
The young man was a pastor, and so was I at the time, and the wife was a faithful sister who was full of the Holy Spirit
A nurse was trained to put her medical training to use when a patient is brought in, not to offer stupid comments relating to devilish spirituality
If she cannot offer a word of comfort and encourage the husband to pray for the safe delivery of her baby, she would be better off being quiet
The doctor overheard me correcting the nurse, and we struck up a conversation
He was a believer, and he began to explain to me how unprofessional many Nigerian doctors and nurses are
He said some of them engage in very fetish things in the name of protecting themselves against the evil forces combating their patients, so that the witches and wizards afflicting their patients won’t turn the battle to their own and begin to attack them
He said some of them even combine diabolical or unorthodox methods with medicine in order to diagnose a patient
He said many things to us calmly
In doing so, he calmed me and the hapless young man whose wife was about to deliver a baby down
An hour later, the wife delivered a baby boy.

A Nigerian Christian wants to rent an apartment
A very born-again Christian who is full of the Holy Spirit
An agent takes him to the apartment, and the agent begins to say, “The house is very good. Those who lived here before all bought their first cars within a year of moving in. The spiritual atmosphere of this house is clean. The landlord is a very altruistic person who is kind to people, and this has rubbed off on her properties. I have seen houses where people move in and leave without a penny because of the kind of aura surrounding the house. This house is not one of such. The house itself needed a lot of repairs and renovation, which was glaring, but the spirituality of the house was what the agent was selling…
Then the same Christian brother goes to another property, and the agent says the house does not have the right spiritual aura, he got it from another agent who he knows was fetish, and so on. Now, this house is neat and fits what this Christian brother really needed, but Alfa Suraju, the agent, said it is not spiritually clean.
So the brother rents the house with issues based on the recommendation of the agent
Remember, this is a born-again Christian, full of the Holy Spirit, a man who ought to know that once he moves into a house, whatever powers were operating in that environment before must surrender!

A born-again Christian gets a new housemaid, but she does not do medical tests to find out if the maid is healthy and fit for the work
The first thing she thinks of is taking her to church for deliverance so that she does not pollute the spiritual atmosphere of her house.

A young lady fell ill with mental exhaustion and depression, and she was taken to the hospital. A pastor was brought in to pray for her because the problem could be an arrow of the enemy shot at her from the pits of hell. The nurses begin to talk to the pastor and the parents. She might have been used for ritual. All these yahoo plus boys use young ladies like this for ritual all the time. Pray against the arrow of ritual.
The thing to do is pray for the lady and command her healing in the name of Jesus, but here you have demon-infested mindsets offering spiritual guidance.

Something happened in the religious estate, which I also witnessed
A young lady was mistakenly locked up in a car
The driver took the children to a park, and this young lady sneaked back into the car to sleep and somehow locked herself in
At a point, she woke up and wanted to leave the car, but she did not know how to open the door of the car
She began to knock on the windows from within the car
People noticed her and started looking for the driver so that he could open the door to let the girl out
One of the people standing there said, “Maybe they had used her for ritual or kidnapped her for ritual purposes.”
If there was ever a stupid thought, that was the definition, but yeah, “One can never tell” has become the excuse for stupidity in today’s world
We need to rid ourselves of mindsets like this.

The reason many Christians end up paranoid and mentally fried is because of the loads of fearful and imaginary enemies they are accommodating in their minds
Anoint the seats, doors, cars, food, hands, and shops with oil and a handkerchief from big men of God instead of praying and illuminating the place by the power of the Holy Spirit in them
This morbid belief system has really handicapped the mindset of many Nigerians, and this is why they are not making any spiritual headway
The path of the righteous is supposed to be shining brighter and brighter, which means the more we walk with the Lord, the more of the light and beings of light we become aware of
The opposite is what is predominant in the world of today’s Christian
The more he walks in religion, the more aware he becomes of the devil, charms, spiritual attacks, and demons
We need to turn the tide; otherwise, we will not grow in the knowledge of Christ as we ought to, and we will be unable to walk in the consciousness of the reality of the Holy Spirit as we ought to.

I got a hold of the message of eternal life a few years ago, even though I have been a christian all my life, I believed it and went on to preach and teach how to live this life to the full above demons, demonic realities, demonic mindsets, witchcraft, the works of darkness, sorcery, sickness, disease, and infirmities. At those early stages, I was rushed to the hospital sick several times, and I had horrible dreams several times. On a certain occasion, I spent about days in the hospital and was told I would need to be flown abroad for an operation, but I refused to give up because of the truth of this message.

I believe in the life of Christ in me and the supremacy and superiority of that life over Satan, disease, infirmity, and death. Therefore, I maintained my confessions of the divine life in me, and Satan was never going to get me to change my testimony. The Apostle John, writing to the Church, said, “These things have! written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” (1 John 5:13).
Why did he emphasize eternal life as our present-hour reality? Why is it so important that we have and live with the consciousness that we have the God-life now? It’s because of the impact and Implication of that God life in and for the one who has it.

No disease or infirmity should thrive in your body, because you have eternal life. No devil, evil attack, or devilish consciousness should rule over your heart, mind, speech, and spirit. No matter how you feel, maintain your confession, declare, “I have eternal life. Therefore, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I refuse to accommodate any kind of pain, sickness, disease, or infirmity. I’m impregnable to sickness, Eternal life works in me!”
Every so often, affirm these words and stand your ground. Soon enough, whatever it is, be it a cancerous growth, diabetes, a terminal ailment-whatever, it’ll pass out of your body. This is the effect of eternal life in you. Years have come and gone, I’ve basked in divine health, Eternal life is at work in me, in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body. Hallelujah!
