Knowing The Weight

I think some ladies don’t know the weight of false rape allegations.

They just bandy the word freely as a way to shame a man they had slept with or a man who rejected their overtures as a way of shaming the man or punishing him for offending them.

There is this man I have been talking to for over three months, based on some physical and psychological issues he is having as regards his ability to have sex.

The man fathered two children with two different women before the age of 22.

He got married to the love of his life at the age of 28, but suddenly couldn’t get his machine gun to fire anymore at the age of 36.

Before he came to me, he had tried several options, including sex therapy with a Danish professional who would lay in bed next to him, while playing some music and whispering some words in his ears to wake up his sleeping giant.

It didn’t work.

The treatment cost him a lot of money in foreign currency. He also tried several other treatments and remedies, from herbal to orthodox, without any result.

Some friends told him a fresh female companion would do the trick, so he tried it.

It still didn’t work.

So he reached out to me as a last resort.

There is nothing that disturbs the core of a man like the inability to be able to say the secret magic word like Superted and transform from an ordinary teddy bear into a flying “super power” bear with a cape and cosmic dust.

The man’s wife brought home her 26-year-old niece to stay with the family in 2024.

The young lady is a banker.

Her family stays in Abakaliki, but she got a job in Abuja and needed to stay with this man and his family for a while.

Early this morning, this man’s family received some visitors.

The pastor of their church and three other elders.

They came in at 5 AM and shared with the family that the niece had come to them to say that this man had repeatedly raped her since she got to their house.

She said the rape happened every Sunday evening between 4 pm and 7 pm.

The man’s wife usually volunteers to help out at an orphanage every Sunday evening (she has been doing this for some years while trusting God to open her womb).

She also said she had gotten pregnant for him.

The pastors said they could have involved the police, but the young lady begged them not to.

She only wanted to bring it to the attention of the man’s wife so that they would know who owned the baby because she intends to keep the child.

The man said he was just looking at them.

He said his wife could barely hold her laughter.

The pastors and elders were wondering what was funny.

He said after a while, his wife turned to the young lady and said, “My husband did not rape you. Do you know how I know that? He is on medications that have prevented him from having sex for over a year.

(This was the story he invented for his wife when he could no longer perform.)

So what is really going on here?”

He said, at that point, the young lady fell on her knees and began to cry.

The pastors all looked lost.

He said he was just laughing.

It turned out that she had been sleeping with multiple partners, and she didn’t know which of them was responsible for the pregnancy.

She was afraid to abort because women who had an abortion in their family had a history of never having children after the abortion.

The man’s wife had an abortion as a 19-year-old and had never been able to conceive since then.

So why did this 26-year-old lady try to implicate the man?

The man said he was fast asleep on a Sunday afternoon some weeks ago in his room when this lady walked into the room and climbed into bed beside him.

She was naked, and she pressed her backside into his loins with the hope that his super Ted would awaken and somehow find its way into her.

He instead slapped her hard and pushed her out of the bed.

He didn’t know that she was already pregnant at the time and was just looking for a man to take the fall for the pregnancy.

He said he didn’t relate the matter to his wife at the time because he was ashamed that the young lady might start spreading the word that he was flaccid.

So he kept quiet about it while she took it as her evidence of rape.

The man said what happened afterwards was shocking to him.

The pastors reprimanded her for lying.

She cried a little.

His wife went to embrace her while promising her that she and her baby would be taken care of, and that was it.

He said, “If I had raped her, my wife would have personally gone to the police station to report the case and press charges.

I would have been thrown out of the house, and I would have been excommunicated from the church.

This young lady accused me of rape, and all she got was a “Go and sin no more” with a lot of pampering from my wife because a baby is finally coming into the family.

He said he wants to leave the marriage.

He said he wants to report the false rape allegation and get the young lady locked up.

He said he wants to pick up his passport and travel abroad for some time.

He said a lot of things.

Of course, he was angry.

Who wouldn’t be?

PS: A few minutes later, I saw Donnie McClurkin’s post on a false rape allegation made against him.

Why do ladies do that?

Do they not know the consequences their action will have on the ones they have falsely accused?

Do they know the consequences and yet do it because they just want to ruin that person’s life?

Why accuse a man you willingly slept with of rape simply because you had post sex remorse?

Why accuse a man who turned down your affections of rape?

Why accuse an innocent man of rape just because you don’t want to take responsibility for your actions?
