Woman comes home from work and tells her husband that she wanted to buy a plot of land so that they can build a house.
She said her colleagues at work were already building, and she does not want to be left behind.
Her husband asked her how much the plot of land was
She said, ‘800,000 Naira’.
Husband reminded her that rent will be due in a few weeks and the cash at hand was needed to pay rent
She said she does not care; she will buy the land
Husband forbade it
She bought it.
She came home the next day with receipts and land documents
Husband kept quiet
Weeks later she convinced husband to follow her to see the land
When they got there, land sellers told her they had sold her plot to somebody else

Land sellers were about thirteen men with cutlasses and other weapons at hand
Wife began to shout…
“You cannot do this to me, do you know who I am? Do you know who my husband is? We will bury you alive!”
Husband kept quiet
Land sellers told her to go do her worst.
Husband and wife left
When they got to the car, wife started shouting at husband.
“What kind of man are you? You are docile. They cheated your wife blatantly, and you kept quiet and refused to fight and defend your own wife. You never loved me, this is proof.”
Husband said, “When we get home, call your older brother or your father to come here with you and fight.
I will not be butchered by land sellers over a land you bought despite my instructions to you not to buy it.”
