Faith is the language of the Kingdom. It’s how we live, serve and please God, even as young people in our schools, homes, and communities.
The Lord Jesus raised a remarkable question in our opening verse: “When the Son of man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?” Our assignment isn’t only to preach salvation but also to teach the nations, our friends and classmates, how to live by faith.
Faith is not a religious idea; it’s a spiritual principle by which we make divine realities real in this material world, including situations like exams, friendships, and future plans.
Faith calls things that are not as though they were. Faith is acting on God’s Word. It is acting your believing; doing what the Word says, regardless of circumstances or how you feel, even when things look difficult. When you learn to live this way, nothing shall be impossible to you.
The Lord Jesus said, “…for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).
Challenge others by your own faith, by the way you talk, study, pray, and face challenges. As you share the Gospel, let your words communicate confidence, victory and the dominion of the Word, so that others can see Jesus through your life.
Help others understand that the life of faith is a life of divine possibilities. Faith always works because it’s based on the irrefutable, infallible, unchanging, all-powerful, living Word of God. Hallelujah!
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand (Matthew 12:25).
The Lord Jesus revealed an important reality about Satan, his kingdom and structure when He addressed the accusation of the Pharisees that He cast out demons by Beelzebub, the prince of devils. In response, He asked a simple but profound question: “…How can Satan cast out Satan?” (Mark 3:23). Through this statement, the Master unveiled something significant about the nature of satanic operations.
The Lord Jesus explained that a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. This tells us something crucial: Satan operates with an organized structure; he has a kingdom. This kingdom functions with coordination and hierarchy. Demonic forces operate within an ordered system designed to oppose the purposes of God and influence the affairs of this world.
This insight helps us understand why the Bible speaks of principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). These terms describe ranks and authorities within Satan’s kingdom of darkness. But they’re all under your feet.
The Bible says we’re seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms, “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come” (Ephesians 1:21). In Christ, you belong to the Kingdom of God, a far greater and superior Kingdom ruled by righteousness, truth and divine authority.
Therefore, it makes no difference the structure of Satan’s kingdom or his modus operandi; you’re the one in charge. You have the dominion. Through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, you stand firmly in the victory and authority of Christ over Satan, hell, and the powers of darkness.
No structure of darkness can prevail against you or the authority of the Kingdom of God to which you belong. You’re not within their jurisdiction. You’re in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son (Colossians 1:12-13), where you reign and rule over all things by Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Giving thanks unto the Father…Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:12-13).
Being born again, you’re superior to Satan; you defeated Satan in and with Jesus—in Satan’s own domain—hell! Colossians 2:15 (NIV) says, “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”
When Jesus did this, you were in Him. Hallelujah!
Therefore, you’re not under the authority, dominion, jurisdiction, or powers of darkness; they can’t affect your life anymore. Where you are is a realm they can’t attain to or approach; it’s the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. You’re not supposed to be at the mercy of demons. But the problem is that many in the Church haven’t exercised their authority and dominion over Satan and the powers of darkness.
In dealing with Satan, there’s no need for argument or pointless tussle. Jesus didn’t say, “You shall ‘push” away or tussle with devils in my Name”; He said, “… cast out devils…” (Mark 16:17); that is, kick out, throw out, fling off with force. You give them commands. Hallelujah! You’ve got to put the Word of God to work.
If, for example, the devil is causing you Essential Tremor—causing your hands, head, trunk, voice or legs to shake rhythmically—you say, “Hold on, devil! I belong in the Kingdom of Christ, not in the domain of darkness. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, body, I command this anomaly to stop!” That’ll be the end of that trouble. When you insist, your body will comply, because God’s Word is law! Nothing can resist the power in the Name of Jesus.
The Lord has given you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the ability of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Satan has no right to run things in your life or in your home or in the lives of your loved ones, because you’re one with Christ, vested with all power and authority in heaven and in the earth to subdue Satan, dominate circumstances, and take charge of your world. Glory to God!
