Those that are quick to praise you and call you the next best thing to God himself.
With that same mouth, they would run you ragged with insults
Unfortunately they won’t do it to your face, it will be behind you and it will be directed to your person and character
They will claim to know things they do not know and spread malicious rumors and lies about you
If you don’t give them the room to praise you, they won’t have the familiarity and proximity to validate their lies
If you allow them to praise you, they will draw close enough so that people can see them with you and through this association they will claim they are your right hand of righteousness
Don’t be carried away by their sycophancy
Don’t fall for the hype
Keep yourself grounded
