The Lord made a way

The contract that was canceled when I came to Nigeria for the holidays a few weeks ago was reoffered to me at five times the price when i got back on January 10
I had started the job and done it halfway before I was told there was a family emergency in Nigeria
So i wrote to the company asking for permission to travel
They granted it and asked me to ensure I conclude the project before the middle of February
It is a very tedious and technical job.
It should have been given to a team of four, at least but it was given to me.
I had delivered on that kind of assignment twice before
As soon as I got to Nigeria, I got a mail
The mail said i had breached my contract by travelling
They terminated the contract with immediate effect
I reached out to Brother Gbenga, he said they were joking and I should not fret. I believed
I continued to work on the project in my spare time, especially because i had nothing else to do
I also felt the experience would be good for me
Thank God I did
I will deliver the job later today
When I got back to the UK, they were waiting for me with an offer
I told them I didn’t want it
All I was hoping for was an apology from the man who ordered the termination of the contract
Instead, I got a new contract and an offer of a five times increase in earnings
