I came here to study medicine
I found myself in jail after one wild night with my fellow students and an accusation of a deed I couldn’t even remember if it took place or not, because we had taken a lot of things and drank a lot of things
All the while, there was a recording which exonerated me from this accusation, but the person with it refused to release it until the day she graduated and collected her certificate, which was six weeks ago
I was in my prison cell that day, seriously contemplating suicide when my lawyer came and announced that I would be returning home that day
It was like a joke
I later discovered that the student graduated and anonymously posted the SD card to the police, the media and my lawyer, and also on YouTube so that it cannot be suppressed
The video was irrefutable proof that I blanked out all night before the lady walked into the room, tore her clothes and smeared herself with sweat from my face and armpits and also out my hands under her armpits to ensure DNA samples stayed glued to me and then screamed rape
God saw me from Nigeria
God saw me in Jail and in despair, and God sent a word of deliverance to me
I returned to Nigeria a week later
The school sent my transcript and refunded all my fees paid fees
I will complete my studies in a private university here in Nigeria
God came through
Love lifted me
