My breakthrough season

Lagos, is hosting an international event in a few weeks. Guess who got the contract to provide tourist coverage including accommodation, transportation, logistics, and other guest relations services? We did. I didn’t bid for it. I was idling away at home when I got a prompt to visit a friend in Marina. When I got there, they were talking about this water sport event involving electronic motorboats. I walked in and my friend said, “This is the person that will handle the hotel bookings, logistics, and guest relations services”. I didn’t even know what she was really talking about. Everybody agreed, they clapped and shook my hands and i sat in on the meeting. My friend filled me in later. It turned out to be a huge project financed by some very strong brands. It is indeed my breakthrough season. Glory
