I thank God for my deliverance

I thank God for my deliverance

I bless the Lord for bringing me out of set-up that could have ruined my life
I was in an Uber with some friends when we were suddenly ordered to park our car for a stop and search
When the police began to search the car, they suddenly claimed they discovered a gun in my travel bag
I was the only one with a bag that day because I planned to travel to see my parents the day after the outing
This landed me in the police net
I found myself behind bars for something I knew absolutely nothing about
The police officers knew about it
All of them
I know this because they would all give each other winks and side looks whenever my name was mentioned
they even gave me a nickname
They called me Jew or Jeu or Bolo
They, however, didn’t torture me or treat me the way they would normally treat armed robbers or those they caught doing violent crimes
It was as if someone told them to hold on to me for some time
I was also kept in the VIP section, it was not heaven but it was not hell too
Eventually, I was bailed out by my parents after eleven days
My parents would later inform me that they reached out to Brother Gbenga and he told them it was a case of mistaken identity and I would be released after a few days
Everything happened exactly that way
The officer my parents reached out to explained to them that the police were after a criminal who defrauded the wife of one of their bosses of a lot of money
They eventually arrested the guy a day before they set me free
I thank God for his intervention
I have also learned my lessons going forward, especially in my walk with the Holy Spirit
I saw a vision that day in which Brother Gbenga and three of us were walking on a field
Suddenly I carried my bag and turned away from the team
Brother Gbenga asked me where I was going and I said I wanted to go and see a friend
Then he prayed for me and I left
It was later I remembered that the prayer he was praying was that God would save me from the snare of the fowler and schemes of the evil one
I wish i had been more sensitive but I will not let down my guard going forward

I thank God for my deliverance
