I felt joy like a river

I felt joy like a river

For several years, my family has been torn apart by a series of misunderstandings between all the children my father left behind
My father had only one wife and seven children
One would expect that we would be united
He was a Vicar and my mother was the most devout Christian I know before she went home to be with the Lord
The conflicts has been relentless and endless
I have been deeply troubled as i stood in the place of prayer over all of us
None of our children know one another
it was as if the devil was determined to destroy the memory of my father completely
After the meeting at Kogi which i joined online, glorious things began to happen
The first was a WhatsApp group created by my father’s last child
Then the careful conversations and banters that followed
The entire family came to my house in Abeokuta this last weekend
We all sat down and ate and drank and so did our children
Even the ones that were abroad came home
For the first time since 2009, when our father died
I felt joy like a river
It can only be by the Spirit of God

Gloooory!
