August is the month of Let it Rain
– It will be a month of pleasant surprises
– This is the month of full manifestation of the Spirit and the truth in your midst
– The Lord says knowledge and revelation shall be brought to many in the place of prayer and meditation
– The Lord says this month expect the demonstration of the Spirit and the truth
– Many will be brought up hither to a higher understanding of the things of the Spirit and a practise of the things of the Spirit
– Many who are hidden will be disclosed in this season and launched into the fullness of the light and fulfilment of destiny
– Many who forgot who they were will suddenly come into the full consciousness of their destiny in Christ
– Many will be activated and called into full service for the work ahead
– It shall be unto you a month of unhindered interaction with divinity and a mastery of divine communications
– Long-awaited glad tidings shall break forth on every side
– Many shall ascend and many angels shall descend in the pursuit of the instructions of the Lord Jesus Christ
We, however, are citizens of heaven, and we eagerly wait for our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from heaven (Philippians 3:20 GNB).
As Christians we’re surrounded by myriads of angels, and the Bible says they are ministering spirits, sent to minister for us. That means they’re at our service, even though we don’t see them with our physical eyes. Some folks are more conscious of demons than they are of angels, and that’s sad. The truth is, there are far more angels since creation, and they are willing to communicate with and work with believers at every level, if believers will equally recognise that they are real and willing to work with them.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
When you’re born again, you become a member of God’s great family. The Apostle Paul made reference to this family in Ephesians 3:14- 15: “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.” It’s one family in heaven and earth, and you belong there now.
As a member of this family, you’re in a divine community. It’s like being in a secure online community, where members are given passcodes for access. All non-members are restricted until they register and are given access codes. It’s the same in our community; through the Holy Ghost, we have access to the Father, and all the glories of His presence.
Psalm 87
Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.
1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion, more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are said of you, city of God:[a]
4 “I will record Rahab[b] and Babylon among those who acknowledge me—Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush[c]—and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”[d]
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,“This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 The Lord will write in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.”
7 As they make music they will sing, “All my fountains are in you.”
The Bible says, “For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father” (Ephesians 2:18).
God is always happy with us. The Bible says He rejoices over us with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). Many don’t really know Him, that’s why they think He’s mad at them for the wrong things they’ve done, and tend to run from Him. But He’s love, and loves you passionately, in spite of your actions. Romans 5:8 tells us, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Ephesians 2:19 says, “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.” Quit begging or acting like a stranger and foreigner; you’re a member of God’s family, and have unrestricted access to Him through Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! O, the glory you’d experience, communicate, and disseminate if this truth dawns on your heart! It’ll beautify your life, and cause you to live closer to your full potential.
Christ has come. This means the heavens are already open. You’re already a member of the family of God; a citizen of heaven on earth: “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named” (Ephesians 3:14-15). It’s one big family, and you belong there now.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).
In Ephesians chapter one, the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul, prayed thus for the church at Ephesus: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17).
Notice the focus of the prayer: that God would grant them “the spirit of wisdom and revelation.” Walking in divine wisdom is so important in the life of a Christian. If you have access to God’s Word, you have access to divine wisdom, for the Word of God is the wisdom of God.
It doesn’t matter what you may have experienced in life; it doesn’t matter who your advisers are; it doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read or what you’ve seen in life; if you don’t have the Word in you, you’re bereft of the wisdom of God. And for you to be a true success in life, you need wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7); in other words, it’s the real deal; it’s what you need.
The wisdom of men may take you some distance; only the wisdom of God will take you all the way and make you an all-round success. The Bible says Christ has been made unto you wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30); therefore, you don’t lack wisdom. Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, lives in you; so you have access and insight into mysteries and secrets.
You’re super-intelligent, sagacious and highly perceptive. Acknowledge this about you, and walk in this light. The Bible says, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 1:6). Christ is your wisdom. Affirm it! Declare that you don’t make bad decisions, because the Spirit of wisdom is at work in you.
There are people in this world that God has placed to give access to others; access to wealth, to power, to resources, etc. He has ordained someone to be your access, and you may never have that access except through that person. This is because, in working with men, in blessing men, He uses other men.
Take, for instance, in 1 Kings 17:9 (ASV), God said to Elijah, “Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Sidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow there to sustain thee.” It was a time of severe famine, and if Elijah was going to have any more food, it was going to come from that woman. Elijah could go anywhere else, if he chose, but if he was going to walk in God’s perfect will for that moment, it had to be through that woman.
For the woman, Elijah was her access for her next level. She was in abject penury, and if she was ever going to come out of that squalor, it would be her connection to Elijah. Through Elijah, she was in turn sustained and went from penury into prosperity (read the entire account in 1 Kings 17). That’s not all; when her son fell ill and died, she got a miracle; the young lad was raised back to life by the prophet, Elijah.
Likewise, the children of Israel remained as slaves in Egypt, until Moses responded to the call of God to bring them out. Moses was their access. Jesus Himself was our access to the Father’s presence and He knew it. He said, “…No one comes to the Father, but by me” (John 14:6 RSV).
Recognize those you’re to give access, and be prompt to do what the Lord has placed in your heart to do for their benefit or advantage. Also, recognize those the Lord has placed in your path to give you access, whether in ministry, your work, career, politics, etc. It’s a principle in the Kingdom of God, and you have to understand it.
As you go about your endeavours this month, have the consciousness that Christ has been made unto you wisdom; therefore, your choices, actions and words are in sync with God’s plan and purpose for your life.
