Got a new job

I had my last employment contract terminated in January due to a contract that was mismanaged on one my projects. As the Project Manager, I was let go. With my level of experience, I thought getting another role was going to be a walk in the park as I have never been out of a job. But God had a different plan.

During the Prophetic Service of the 9th of July, a female minister spoke about someone who will be attending an interview later in the day. She said the person should wear something with a touch of blue. I had planned to wear a pink shirt for my interview that day, so I changed the shirt to one with some blue strips and used blue cufflinks and lapel.

On the 21st of July, I got a call from HR stating that I got the role and was later sent the contract details which I accepted. I took a nap that afternoon because I was still a bit jet-lagged from the NA Retreat trip. I woke up from that nap and Sis. Priscilla’s word of knowledge at the retreat came back to me. She stated that those planning to change careers should take the leap of faith and not be worried they have no experience in the new field but they should request for what the think they deserve during the negotiation stage.

I got up and sent another email to HR renegotiating the contract details and in about an hour, I got a response with the contract document amended to reflect all I asked for.

This new role offers a higher pay and better perks.

I have come to return all the praise to God.
